Well here it is my lovelies! My Flower Crown DIY! Today I'll take you through how to make a Full Fresh Flower Crown. And I promise this one's pretty easy.
Summer is upon us and what better way to make an entrance to party than to be wearing a fresh flower crown, especially once you magic'd up on your kitchen floor. NBD.
I'll keep the reading to a minimum because lets be honest, I've always been more of a picture person. haha.
What you'll need | Flowers & Green, 2 pieces of Stem Wire, Floral Tape, Scissors. (Michael's is a good place for basic supplies.)
STEP 1
Pick out any fresh flowers your little heart desires. You could pop by your local flower shop, pick some while on a stroll through the woods, or rob your neighbours garden. I'm not judging ; ) I like to have a variety of pretty colours and some fun greens on hand.
Below are a few of the things I like to play with.
STEP 2
Wrap each piece of Stem Wire with the Floral Tape. Then attach both pieces together to form a circle. Measure to fit your head.
STEP 3
Cut some of flowers off of their stems leaving about 2 inches of stem. Now the fun part. Make a baby bouquet! I take a lil of this and a lil of that, and pinch the bundle together with my fingers. Then tape that lil guy to the wire circle we made.
Continue to make lil bouquets and make your way around the entire frame. I like to mix up my arrangements. You really can't go wrong. Flowers are so pretty and so forgiving.
STEP 4
Once you've almost made your way around the entire frame, you'll need to tuck the last baby bouquet under the first one. Once you secure last last lil guy in you're almost done. Now take the crown and have a good look at it. If there are any spaces, you could tuck a few greens in, if any fluffing needs to be done...fluff away. Now go ahead and pop your masterpiece on your head and be proud of yourself for giving something new a try. Don't forget to hashtag your crown on Insta! #ladyhayesdiy
